Who we are

About us

Founded in 2001, CD Construction Group initiated trade with three carpenters, one client and a dream. That dream was to cultivate a successful construction business which had the ability to operate across multiple market sectors, the flexibility to provide value on small, medium and large projects, and the skill set to ensure our standards were never compromised.

Core values

Were developed through our humble small business values and complemented by our passion and drive to develop a highly skilled dynamic team capable of delivering across a diverse range of projects and budgets.

With an initial annual turnover of less than $1 million, CD Construction Group has increased this to $40 million+ today. In order to maintain a solid and responsible balance sheet, this evolution has been managed conservatively which has allowed CD Construction Group to establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and financial partners, who recognise the company’s financial strength to deliver and see all projects through with great success.

Professional growth systems have allowed team members to adapt to cutting edge project management systems, processes and devices, to ensure clients benefit from the highest standard of communication and superior project management skills. As a building contractor in Sydney, CD Construction Group’s hardworking accounting system provides clients with clear visibility on all figures from project level through to general ledger.

Our Commitment To The Client

We are committed

We strongly believe that our ability to deliver outstanding work, with true commitment and care, has ensured our success of repeat business. We nurture this by prioritising client and trade collaboration – allowing each project to reach its full potential.

Our Expertise

Clients engage the expertise of CD Construction Group in two formats

While some clients may choose to proceed with the traditional tender format, our reputation has allowed us several opportunities to enter the pre-construction phase earlier on a negotiated basis.

If a client chooses to proceed in the latter format, they will be directly supported by the CD Construction Group team via cost planning, buildability and programming advice in the most cost effective and efficient manner. This route provides our clients with minimal risk and maximum value.

Likewise, concerning the traditional tender format, we are equipped to compete with respective construction groups in terms of quality, price and our extensive track record. Responsible for the construction of Sydney’s most impressive developments, our team is experienced and confident with the tender process and is committed to transparency and accountability throughout.

We strongly believe that CD Construction Group holds a great advantage in terms of available skillsets in times of trade shortage. Our in-house team consists of highly experienced Builders, Structural Steel Riggers, Boiler Makers, Form-Workers and Plasterers, as well as our trusted teams of external Carpenters along with our full range of subcontract trade services.

CD Construction Group Management focus on employing the finest tradesmen who complement our strengths of assuring quality within budget. We do this by embracing a strong culture of teamwork and a can-do attitude for all projects.

Pre-Construction

The Pre-Construction process is vital for the success of the project in terms of meeting expectations. This phase involves an intricate set of detailed deliverables including Budget Estimates, Buildability Reviews and Advice, and Programming Advice.

Construction

Following the Pre-Construction and planning phase is the Construction phase. This is where the CD Construction Group Builders and trades become hands on. Prior to this there are many design and management processes which must be implemented before construction can commence. This phase can be provided on a Construction management, Cost Plus, Lump Sum Construction or Lump Sum Design & Construct basis.

Post Construction

Following the Construction phase is Post Construction. This phase is designed to support the development ongoing, to ensure the building is maintained for safety and aesthetics accordingly. This phase includes Programmed Maintenance and Life Cycle Analysis.
