Affordable Housing Development Sydney

CD Construction Group successfully completed the demolition of existing dwellings and site remediation to prepare for a new seventeen-unit affordable housing development. The project also involved refurbishing and converting two heritage-listed terraces to form the development’s front entry. To create a cohesive streetscape, two matching adjoining terraces were constructed, blending seamlessly with the existing heritage architecture. The result is a thoughtfully designed, accessible housing solution that balances historical preservation with modern living standards.

CD Construction Group undertook the complex task of constructing an eight-level apartment block featuring compact studio apartments ranging from 22 to 31 square metres. The project involved detailed demolition and extensive bulk excavation, all completed despite challenging access conditions. Designed in the “Teilhaus” style, the development focuses on efficient, minimalist living. Communal spaces, including a large kitchen, dining area, laundry facilities and a peaceful garden terrace, provide residents with shared amenities that promote social interaction and a sense of community.
