CD Construction Group was founded in 2001 with three carpenters, one client and an idea. That idea was to grow a business with the highest possible standards.
This meant focusing on the core values of a small business while developing and growing a team who would work with the same passion, respect and drive that the founders have for our clients and their projects.
Starting with annual turnover of $500,000 in the first year, CD Construction Group has grown this to nearly $40 million in 2018. In order to maintain a strong and responsible balance sheet, this growth has been managed conservatively which has allowed us to establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and banking partners who know that we have the financial strength to deliver and see all projects through.
Managing this growth safely has also meant constantly reinvesting in the business to adapt our systems, processes and tools. In recent years we have implemented a construction specific accounting system which gives us clear visibility of all figures from project level through to general ledger and we have been accredited in several management system standards.
